Kapuso singer and actress Julie Anne San Jose was shocked with the tomboy issue that was recently thrown her way.
She denied the issue when asked about it during the presscon for her latest shampoo endorsement by saying that she is a hundred percent girl.
“Hindi totoong tomboy ako. I have nothing against them pero not true, babaeng-babae po ako," she said.
The issue could have stemmed from one of her tweets where she called herself 'macho.' Regarding that, she explained:
"Macho kasi ang tawag sa akin noong high school ako dahil boyish ako at mas malapit ako sa mga lalaki, but it doesn’t mean na tomboy ako.”
Meanwhile, Julie Anne's debut album has recently turned platinum. She's also busy preparing for two concerts - one at the Teatrino in April and another one in Los Angeles in May in time for her birthday.
