Kris Aquino and Chef Jayps Anglo of MasterChef Pinoy Edition are currently being linked because of clues about her current crush that the KrisTV host herself revealed.
On Sunday in The Buzz, Kris told host Boy Abunda that three men are making her kilig nowadays, and one of them will be a guest in her morning show the following day, January 21.
Seen as guest in her show the following day were Chef Jayps, Chef Dino Dizon and director Lino Cayetano. Senator Chiz Escudero was her co-host but everyone knew he’s already in a relationship with actress Heart Evangelista and besides, he’s a co-host and not a guest. Dino, on the other hand, said during the episode that he currently has a girlfriend.
With Chiz and Dino out of the question, people focused on Lino and Jayps and wondered who between the two was making Kris kilig. The viewers’ attention, though, got focused on Jayps due to some things that happened in the program.
Jayps, in the episode, wasn’t able to make a perfect omelette. Kris commented about the chef being pressured, reason why the omelette’s base was torn.
Then after cooking, the chef gave flowers to Kris for her kitchen in the studio. It came with a letter but Kris didn’t want to read it out loud. She even told Chiz, who pressed her to do so, to just eat.
“Nakikialam,” Kris told Chiz. “Kain ka na lang.”
Meanwhile, on Twitter, entertainment columnist and TV host Ogie Diaz posted:
“So kung ndi si @linocayetano, ang sabi ng mga observers, si Chef Jayps daw ang source ng "kilig" ni @krisaquino214.”
Kris answered that with:
“@ogiediaz naku pare... Hehehe. See u later.”
It was Chef Jayps’ second time to guest in the show. His first was on Jan. 11 where Kris even asked for his zodiac sign, but mistakenly said “size” instead of “sign.” She also commented on the chef’s beautiful eyes, and joked saying, “After James, Jayps naman.”
