Kapamilya actress Jessy Mendiola appeared in her first solo cover for Metro in its February 2013 issue.
Jessy currently stars in the afternoon soap Precious Hearts Romances Presents: Paraiso. Aside from that, she's also busy doing the upcoming Against All Odds which is topbilled by Judy Ann Santos.
Meanwhile, Jessy revealed to Metro her acting method.
“I only read the script once and then I never read it again until before the actual take," she said. "When I read it again and again, I get too technical and the emotions don’t come out naturally.”
Jessy is also said to be the lucky actress chosen by ABS-CBN to play the lead role in the upcoming Philippne adaptation of the Mexican series Maria Mercedes. Now that, for sure, will boost her career into superstar status.
