Details of the not-so-pleasant incident between Gerald Anderson and Maricel Soriano in the set of their upcoming series Bukas Na Lang Kita Mamahalin are now being told in various blogs.
The Diamond Star was allegedly dismayed with Gerald’s acting even after so many takes so she shouted at the Primetime Drama Prince, saying that he’s the cause of delay.
“Ano ‘to Direk? Hindi naman niya nakuha ang tamang pag-arte,” she allegedly shouted. Then to Gerald, she said, “Ayan, mag-sorry ka sa lahat ng crew dahil ikaw ang dahilan ng delay.”
The incident happened last week and it was either Maricel didn’t like Gerald’s acting or the actor couldn’t get the right emotion needed in the scene.
Maricel walked out after the shouting incident, and with due respect to Gerald, he allegedly followed the actress and apologized but the actress just kept on shouting at him.
Meanwhile, further rumors say the series will either be shelved or Maricel will be replaced. Of course, ABS-CBN cannot replace Gerald because the series was really for him, first and foremost.
Let’s just hope everything goes well between the two actors and the series. After all, no rift cannot be fixed by sitting down and talking about it like adults.
Also in the cast of the series are Cristine Reyes, Rayver Cruz, Tonton Gutierrez, Diana Zubiri and Dina Bonnevie.
