Princess And I will air its finale episode tomorrow, February 1, but the fans of the love team of Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla need not fret as the two will be working on their movie soon after.
“Next namin after ‘Princess and I' is 'yung movie namin,” Kathryn revealed to ABS-CBN News. “Taping na nga kami tomorrow eh, sisimulan na namin siya.”
It will be the first major movie of their tandem, following their supporting roles in the hit 2012 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) entry Sisterakas.
But although excited for the movie, Kathryn was sad that Princess And I is about to end. She confessed that she learned a lot while doing the series which ran for ten months.
“Nag-grow talaga kami dito,” she said. “Masarap ang feeling kasi after ng show, marami akong natutunan. Yun ang importante. And the friendship, 'yung samahan with the cast, parang nagkaroon ng bagong family kasi 10 months kaming magkakasama.”
Meanwhile, Daniel has mixed feelings towards the ending of the hit series.
“Masaya na malungkot siyempre. Magtatapos na pero masaya kasi maganda ang itinakbo ng Princess and I,” he said.
Their fans also grew tenfolds through the series. Televiewers got hooked on Kathryn’s character as the long-lost Yangdon princess, and on Daniel’s character as the rebellious teen who eventually found out that he was a dasho.
