Suspension of Classes (August 7, 2012)

Heavy rains have been causing floods in some areas in Luzon resulting to the Suspension of Classes for August 7, 2012 by specific Local Government Units (LGUs).

The monsoon rains have been pouring specifically hard in Luzon and Visayas triggering the Suspension of Classes especially in the flood prone areas where public schools are being used as evacuation centers by the flood victims.

The following areas with No Classes on ALL LEVELS on Tuesday, August 7, 2012, are:

• Bataan
• Batangas
• Bulacan
• Cavite
• Laguna
• National Capital Region (NCR) – Caloocan, Las Piñas, Makati, Malabon, Mandaluyong, Manila, Marikina, Muntinlupa, Navotas, Parañaque, Pasay, Pasig, Pateros, Quezon City, San Juan, Taguig, Valenzuela
• Nueva Ecija
• Pampanga
• Pangasinan
• Rizal
• Tagaytay
• Tarlac
• Zambales
