Suspension of Classes (August 6, 2012)

The monsoon rains and the flood have triggered Suspension of Classes in some schools in Metro Manila for August 6, 2012.

Rain has been pouring hard over Luzon and Visayas, specifically in the National Capital Region. Flood is the great problem of some Local Government Units (LGUs), the reason why classes in some schools have been declared suspended despite having no typhoon in the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).

The following areas with No Classes for Monday, August 6, 2012, are:

• Cainta, Rizal – preschool to high school (afternoon classes for public and private schools)
• Malabon – preschool to high school (public and private)
• Mandaluyong City – preschool to high school (public and private schools)
• Manila – preschool to high school (afternoon classes for public schools)
• Marikina City – preschool to high school (public schools)

  • Brgy. Concepcion Uno
  • Brgy. Nangka
• Muntinlupa City – all levels (afternoon classes for public and private schools)
• Pasay City – preschool to high school (public and private schools)

• Quezon City – preschool to high school (public and private schools)
• Rodriguez, Rizal – all levels (public and private schools)
• San Juan – preschool to high school (public and private schools)
• San Mateo, Rizal – preschool to high school (public schools)
