Shelly Hipolito from the North & Central Luzon auditions is one of the Top 20 contestants of GMA-7’s Protégé: The Battle for the Big Artista Break.
Shelly was picked by mentor Ricky Davao along with Glenn Roy, Japs De Luna and Reese Tayag.
The 16-year-old girl from Nueva Ecija likes reading books, surfing the internet and watching television, especially the Kapuso afternoon drama The Good Daughter during its run. Her favorite movie is Titanic and lists Heart Evangelista and Marian Rivera as her favorite celebrities.
She says that she’d make sure that she’ll not only make a mark among the televiewers with her face but with her talent as well.
