For the first time, ABS-CBN primetime series Walang Hanggan and Princess And I got the same viewers' ratings and tied on top of the nationwide TV ratings at 38.8% on August 7, 2012 (Tuesday) according to Kantar Media.
The two programs have constantly been on the top 2 of nationwide primetime TV ratings with Walang Hanggan always the leader, until it shared the number 1 spot with the “royal teleserye” on Tuesday.
Princess And I have been gaining more fans lately with the exciting developments in its plot. Topbilled by Kathryn Bernardo as Mikay, it is becoming more interesting especially with her soon-to-be-revealed identity as the Princess of the Kingdom of Yangdon.
Meanwhile, Walang Hanggan has been described as intense especially with the fight scenes between Daniel (Coco Martin) and Nathan (Paulo Avelino) and the escape of Katerina (Julia Montes) from being captured by her brother Tomas (Joem Bascon). The reunion of Daniel and Katerina in Albay last Tuesday was also most-watched by fans of the drama series.
But with the tie between Princess And I and Walang Hanggan, are we predicting that the former will soon be toppling the latter in the top spot?
