Gabriel Maturan sang The Script’s Breakeven in The X Factor Philippines Top 10 performance show, which had rock songs as theme.
Gabriel belongs to the Boys category being mentored by Martin Nievera.
It wasn’t his best performance with a lot of pitchy parts and it didn’t escape the judges’ ears.
According to Charice Pempengco, it was Gab’s weakest performance. Gary Valenciano said the contestant was pitchy and has no focus, while his mentor Martin said he echo what the others said but he understands that it was really hard to perform with an audience.
