August 20 and 21 are non-working holidays

President Benigno Aquino III has just declared August 20, 2012 a regular holiday.

PNoy already signed Proclamation No. 455 that declares August 20, a Monday, as a holiday to give our Muslim brothers a chance to celebrate Eid’l Fitr after a month of fast.

Meanwhile, August 21, a Tuesday, has previously been declared a holiday to commemorate the Ninoy Aquino Day.

Pinoys who has no work on regular weekends will then have a four-day long weekend come August 18-21. Let’s just hope that the country’s weather would be sunshiny during those days so we can all enjoy the rare chance.
