The controversial actress and young mom signed with Viva Artists Agency just before KC Concepcion decided to drop the movie in favor of her television projects. KC’s decline was a blessing in disguise for Andi as the role was offered to her.

Directed by Ruel Naval, Nothing Compares To You is Viva’s follow-up to the blockbuster No Other Woman, and also a follow-up project to the tandem of Anne Curtis and Derek Ramsay which was well-received during the first movie.

Anne will not be playing the other woman this time but the legal one at that. The role of the third party, which was originally meant for KC, will be portrayed by Andi.

The script, written by Mel del Rosario, is reportedly being altered to suit Andi’s age as it was made with KC in mind. In the story, she and Anne are part of a big group of friends from the upper class so we can expect a lot of glamorous scenes in the movie. Aside from that, social media will be an element in the story to show moviegoers how relationships of the rich and internet-savvy people play out.

Set for October 2012 release, Nothing Compares To You is Andi Eigenmann’s first big movie role. Furthermore, it is the first movie she will be doing with her real-life mother Jaclyn Jose.

Currently, Andi can be seen on television via ABS-CBN’s primetime soap Kahit Puso’y Masugatan, which marks her acting comeback after giving birth to Eli, whose father is allegedly Albie CasiƱo.
