The music video of Phillip Phillips’ American Idol coronation song Home has been officially released.
Home has been described as the best American Idol coronation song ever written and how America fell in love with the song was one of the reasons why Phillip won over Jessica Sanchez.
The song was written by Greg Holden and Drew Pearson, who also produced the song. It was immediately released after Phillip’s win and debuted at number ten on the Billboard Hot 100.
Home recorded the biggest digital sales week for any American Idol winner’s coronation song with 278,000 downloads.
