5 Protégés get early boot

Five sad hopefuls was sent home during the first elimination round of Protégé: The Battle for the Big Artista Break of GMA-7.

One contestant from each of the five mentors were dropped, thus, the chance of winning the competition was narrowed down to just fifteen contestants.

Eliminated contestants were Kelly D of Mega Manila, Mykel Ong of South Luzon, Glenn Roy of North and Central Luzon, Mitch Capili of Visayas, and Apple Vega of Mindanao.

With that, the remaining Top 15 are:
