Sarah Geronimo and Nora Aunor, among awardees of Ani Ng Dangal 2013

Popstar Royalty Sarah Geronimo is among the awardees of Ani Ng Dangal this year under the Multi-Disciplinary Arts category.

Ani Ng Dangal is an annual affair celebrated as a highlight and concluding rite of the Philippine Arts Festival held every February.

It awards natural-born Filipino artists or groups in seven art disciplines including Architecture and Allied Arts, Cinema, Dance, Dramatic Arts, Literary Arts, Music, and Visual Arts, and also including Multi-Disciplinary Arts.

There are forty-seven awardees this year. Aside from Sarah, well-known personalities who are in the list include Kara David, Brillante Mendoza, Nora Aunor and Shamaine Buencamino, plus the well-loved Saturday night program, ABS-CBN’s Wansapanataym.
