‘Kanta Pilipinas’ names Chadleen Lacdo-o as winner (Video)

Chadleen Lacdo-o emerged as the winner of TV5’s reality singing show Kanta Pilipinas. The 17-year-old Cebuana sang her version of Christina Aguilera’s Beautiful and the judges liked her performance.

Born with a cleft lip, no one would be able to tell now that she was once teased by her classmates as ngongo. Her sad experience as a child, however, didn’t stop her from pursuing her dreams of becoming a singer. As she said, singing is what she would like to do for the rest of her life.

Chadleen won P1-million and a recording contract for being the first-ever champion of Kanta Pilipinas. So I guess we’ll be seeing more of her from now on.

PBB Teen Edition 4 Audition at MOA on January 6 & 13

Aside from the London leg, Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition Season 4 is going to hold auditions at the Mall of Asia in Pasay City on January 6 and 13, 2012. To qualify, you must be 13-17 years old.
