‘Ana Liza’ remake to air on ABS-CBN

The ‘80s soap opera Ana Liza which aired on GMA-7 will reportedly have a remake on ABS-CBN!

The remake of the popular series that originally starred Julie Vega will touch the hearts of televiewers once again. The Kapamilya remake will reportedly have Andrea Brillantes (former Blythe Brillantes) playing the titular role.

Andrea is already a familiar face on television. She is seen every Sunday night in the kiddie gag show Goin’ Bulilit and has appeared in quite a number of drama series. Among the roles she has played are Princess in E-Boy, young Kim Chiu in Ina Kapatid Anak, young Andi Eigenmann in Kahit Puso’y Masugatan, and a lot more. She’s also in the upcoming series Bukas Na Lang Kita Mamahalin and Huwag Ka Lang Mawawala (formerly Against All Odds).

Also in the cast of Ana Liza are Kaye Abad, Carlo Aquino, Denise Laurel and Zanjoe Marudo.
