Jessica Sanchez on ‘Glee’ May 2 and 9; to launch first single on ‘American Idol’ on Thurs

Now it’s out. Filipino-American Jessica Sanchez will appear on Glee in the show’s May 2 and 9 episodes. According to reports she will play the role of a “legendary singer from a rival high school.”

Reports about Jessica’s joining the hit show have surfaced since June last year, almost immediately after her runner-up finish in the eleventh season of American Idol.

It was confirmed in October but news about her role was only reported just recently.

Things are indeed getting brighter for the 17-year-old who was recently in Manila for her first-ever solo major concert. Aside from this news about Glee, she will also be seen once again on the American Idol stage on Thursday (Friday, Manila time) to launch her first single titled Tonight.

The song is part of her debut album Me, You & The Music which will be up for pre-order on March 21. Last week, she uploaded on Twitter a preview of the album’s cover to make her fans even more excited.
