After Louise delos Reyes’ teary interview in Startalk TX about their breakup, her ex-boyfriend Enzo Pineda talked to HOT TV the following day to give his side of the story.
Both camps didn’t express any bitterness, though, and many felt the two separated in such a good manner that people are speculating they would someday be back together again.
“It's a mutual decision between me and Louise, because naisip namin na mas maganda mag-prioritize muna kami sa mga goals and dreams namin sa buhay,” Enzo told host Raymond Gutierrez. “Para naman sa akin kasi, sa tingin ko, mas masarap magmahal kapag na-achieve mo lahat ng goals and dreams mo, and of course kapag graduate ka na sa pag-aaral. Therefore, you don't have to think about anything else but to love.”
Enzo also admitted that their new shows could have taken a toll on their relationship. Louise is one of the leads of Mundo Mo’y Akin which premiered last night, and Enzo gets his first major role in a TV series via the upcoming Kakambal Ni Eliana.
But is there any truth to the rumor that his onscreen partner in the new series had something to do with the breakup?
Enzo denied it saying, “Sa totoo lang nahihiya ako na kailangan pang madamay ni Kim [Rodriguez] dito. She was never part of our problem. Sana wala namang ganung issue kay Kim. It's between me and Louise.”
And with regards to Louise’s statement that she’s not closing her doors, Enzo said he feels the same way.
“Na-appreciate ko 'yung sinabi ni Louise, kasi that's how I also feel about it. And malay mo, someday, pag okay na kami or nakuha na namin ang lahat ng gusto namin sa buhay, we can be together again. Marami pa namang oras para diyan. I'm always here for Louise,” he said.
Kakambal Ni Eliana is set to hit afternoon television in April.
