'Annaliza' star Andrea Brillantes described as "malalim" by director

The cast of the upcoming ABS-CBN series Annaliza recently had a photo shoot and it gave us a clue on the characters the lead cast will portray.

The series is topbilled by child star Andrea Brillantes, Zanjoe Marudo, Denise Laurel, Carlo Aquino, Patrick Garcia and Kaye Abad.

Kaye’s looks easily told me she’s going to be the kontrabida here while Denise’s motherly attire means she’s the good guy.

To get the young viewers interested, teen stars Khalil Ramos and Sue Anna Ramirez are also in the cast, as well as Kiko Estrada who is a familiar face to the fans of GMA-7’s Tween Hearts.

So Khalil is now being paired with Sue and Kiko will be the third wheel. Do you see any chemistry between Khalil and Sue? How about Kiko and Sue?

Annaliza is directed by Theodore Boborol who also helmed Angelito: Batang Ama. It is the first starring role of the 10-year-old Andrea (formerly Blythe Brillantes) but the director already praised her acting abilities. “Malalim ang pinaghuhugutan niya based sa kanyang personal na buhay,” Boborol said of Andrea.
