Sunshine Cruz seemed not to have aged at all when she faced the media during the cast shoot for the series Dugong Buhay. To air beginning April 8, 2013, the action-drama marks her comeback to television after seven years.
She chose not to answer questions regarding husband Cesar Montano, though. The celebrity couple became controversial earlier this year as Cesar was allegedly romantically involved with his leading lady in the movie Turning Cradle: The Untold Story of Alfredo Lim which he also helmed.
Cesar and alleged mistress Krista Miller denied the rumors in two separate interviews with The Buzz but according to reports, Sunshine is still considering her legal options regarding the marriage.
Instead of answering questions regarding her marriage, however, Sunshine told ABS-CBN News that it is not right to say bad things to the father of her kids.
And with going back to acting, she expressed her gratitude towards the Kapamilya Network for casting her in Dugong Buhay.
“I’m very honored and thankful to ABS-CBN,” she said. She also added that she has no qualms about doing a single scene several times just to make it good. “Anytime naman kahit mag-take twenty pa kami okay lang sa ‘kin basta gusto ko maganda.”
Meanwhile, Sunshine further showed that she still has it by posing for the cover of the April 2013 issue of the men’s magazine FHM Philippines. Her skin was still flawless, and her figure showed that she didn’t neglect taking care of herself even after giving birth to two daughters and being away from the limelight for quite some time.
