Jessica Sanchez is joining the hit television show Glee!

Reports confirm that the Filipino-Mexican-American singer, who was recently in the Philippines for shows and endorsements, is going to be in the cast of the hit Fox show's fourth season. No news yet as to what role she's going to play but it will be a recurring one for sure.

Big opportunities started pouring in for the 17-year-old powerhouse after her runner-up finish in American Idol.

Aside from Glee, she will also be releasing her debut album soon. She's also rumored to be one of those being considered for the role of Kim in the upcoming movie adaptation of the musical play Miss Saigon. Other singers with Asian (Filipino) heritage being considered for the role are Charice and Anna Maria de Tagle.
