In line with the premiere of The Amazing Race Philippines on October 29, host Derek Ramsay rappelled from the top of an 8-storey building in Eastwood Mall in Quezon City.

Aired live during TV5’s news program Aksyon, the stunt was to tell everyone that contestants in TARP went through extreme challenges during the race.

TARP airs Monday to Friday after Wil Time Bigtime on TV5. The show features 11 teams at the start of the race. A team will be eliminated in every pit stop, narrowing down the number of teams until the finale.
