As early as the first month of the year, Star Cinema is already in the planning stage for the movie outfit's 2014 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) entry. And it looks like they should really plan way ahead because the entry will star no less than the Star For All Seasons herself, Vilma Santos.
But no, it isn't a drama movie because (1) it has Comedy Queen Ai Ai Delas Alas also in the lead, and (2) the box-office director Wenn V. Deramas will be at the helm.
Having said that, does it mean Vice Ganda won't have an entry this year? Well, unless he will have another director, or Wenn will have more than one entries this year.
2013's Girl Boy Bakla Tomboy starring Vice is the second top-grossing festival entry, which was also awarded 2nd Best Picture. Vice's 2012 entry Sisterakas, meanwhile, was the top grosser. Both movies were directed by Wenn.
Meanwhile, they still haven't given out the title of Vilma and Ai Ai's movie, nor the other members of the cast. One thing that's already been said, though, is that the cameras will start rolling for the said movie mid-2014.
