Anne Curtis returned to ABS-CBN's It's Showtime on Wednesday, January 8, 2014, after spending the holidays out of the country.
"Ito na ang isa sa pinaka-exciting na araw sa buhay ko dahil ito ang first pasok ko sa 'Showtime' ngayong 2014," Anne said during the noontime show's opening.
On Tuesday, "Welcome Back Anne Curtis" trended on Twitter as the news of her being back to the Philippines excited her fans.
Thanking her supporters for the greetings, she posted on her Instagram account: "Thank you for the warm welcome back and all the mentions on twitter! Definitely excited to be back home and get back into work mode! Thank you also for all the likes on my last pic! Crazy number! Basta! Thank you for the love sweethearts! Ready for my first day of worm for 2014 tomorrow! See you all on Showtime!"
The actress became very controversial towards the end of 2013 because of a slapping incident in a private club that also involved her fellow celebrities. She humbly admitted her fault, though, and tried not to let it affect her work.
Now, after a short vacay abroad, Anne is back to her bubbly self again. I definitely missed that high-pitched voice as she greets the "madlang people" every noontime.
