ABS-CBN’s Ina Kapatid Anak was unmoved as the most-watched television show despite the premiere of GMA-7’s most expensive TV series to date, the epic series Indio.
According to Kantar Media Total Philippines Household TV Ratings on Monday, January 14th, the Kapamilya primetime drama got a high 36.3% national rating compared to the pilot episode of Indio which only got 22.7%.
The start of Ina Kapatid Anak’s book two was truly a hit nationwide especially with the confrontation scenes between Celine (Kim Chiu) and Margaux (Maja Salvador), who are currently very controversial because of Gerald Anderson.

Also, the much-awaited revelation of Celine’s true identity has been much-awaited by the series’ fans, reason why it wasn’t unfazed by the competition.
Indio, meanwhile, has just started. We never know what will happen as the story progresses and Bong Revilla as the grown-up Malaya comes into the scene.
