GMA-7 has released their lineup of Koreanovelas for 2013 which includes six of the newest Korean series that televiewers will surely fall in love with. The list includes:
1. Big starring Gong Yoo, Lee Min-Jung, Shin Won-Ho and Bae Suzy
Plot: 18-year-old Kang Gyung-Joon's (Shin Won-Ho) spirit suddenly finds itself in the body of 30-year-old Seo Yoon Jae (Gong Yoo) . Seo-Yon-Jae is a successful doctor and engaged to high school teacher Gil Da-Ran (Lee Min-Jung). Gil Da-Ran just so happens to be the teacher of 18-year old Kang Gyung-Joon. More problems ensue when 30-year-old Seo Yoon Jae falls in love with another woman (Bae Suzy).
2. Queen and I starring Ji Hyun Woo, Yoo In Na, Kim Jin Woo, Ga Deuk Hi, Park Young Rin, Jo Dal Hwan and Uhm Hyo Sup
Plot: Park Boong Do (Ji Hyun Woo) is a scholar who had supported the reinstatement of Queen In Hyun when Jang Heebin's schemes resulted in her being deposed and replaced as King Sukjong's queen consort. He travels 300 years into the future of modern Seoul and meets Choi Hee Jin (Yoo In Na), a no-name actress who is expecting a career renaissance through her role as Queen In Hyun in a TV drama 'New Jang Heebin'.
3. Padam Padam starring Jung Woo Sung, Han Ji Min, Kim Bum, Lee Jae Woo, Na Moon Hee, Jang Hang Sun, Yoon Joo Sang, Kim Joon Sung, Kim Hyung Bum, Kim Ji Yoo, Choi Tae Joon, Cheon Doong, Kim Chung Soo and Park Jung Woo
Plot: “Padam” which means 'to thump' in French is a mellow drama about a man who lived life according to its own course but meets a woman he shouldn't love and about his breathtaking love for her.
Yang Kang Chil just came out from prison after 16 years. He was jailed because of a murder he never did. After released from prison, he goes to Seoul accompanied by his guardian angel, Lee Gook Soo. Meanwhile, Han Ji Min will play Jung Ji Na, a cheerful veterinarian who loves Kang Chil.
4. My Husband’s Got a Family starring Kim Nam-Joo, Yu Jun-Sang and Yoon Yeo-Jung
Plot: My Husband Got a Family tells the story of TV drama director Hong Yoon-Hee and surgeon Bang Gwi-Nam after they get married ...
Yoon-Hee (Kim Nam-Joo) is a TV drama director. She recently married the perfect man for her. Yoon-Hee has been afraid of having in-laws, specifically a mother-in-law. Because of this, Yoon-Hee looked for a guy who isn't closely connected to his family. If she couldn't find such a guy, Yoon-Hee planned on staying single. Finally, Yoon-Hee met Terry (Yu Jun-Sang). Terry is a doctor with a sweet personality, but, most importantly, he has adopted parents from America. Terry has no recollections of his real parents and was adopted by the Korean couple in America as a young child. Yoon-Hee's marriage life seems all set.
Meanwhile, Chung-Ae (Yoon Yeo-Jung) has lived with heavy guilt ever since she lost her son Gwi-Nam at a traditional market 30 years ago. Because of that traumatic incident, Chung-Ae has suffered abuse from her mother-in-law. Nevertheless, Chung-Ae still hasn't given up hope on finding her son one day.
Then one day, Yoon-Hee gets a phone call from her landlord. Her landlord asks for an additional 100 million won to extend her lease. Yoon-Hee goes to her mom's house and asks her mother for the money that she and her husband deposited, but Yoon-Hee's mother invested all of their money in her son's business. Yoon-Hee can't extend her lease and must now move out. Yoon-Hee and Terry look for a new place and they are introduced to a house located on the second floor of a building. The building is owned by Chung-Ae and her husband. Yoon-Hee will soon experience the biggest crisis in her life.
5. Innocent Man starring Song Joong-Ki, Lee Yoo-Bi, Park Si-Yeon, Moon Chae-Won and Lee Kwang-Soo
Plot: A man is betrayed by the woman he loves. To exact revenge, the man uses another woman who lost her memory.
Ma-Roo (Song Joong-Ki) is a promising medical student. He lives with his younger sister Cho-Ko (Lee Yoo-Bi), who suffers from poor health. Meanwhile, Jae-Hee (Park Si-Yeon) is a reporter at HBS broadcasting company. Both Ma-Roo and Jae-Hee come from poor family backgrounds, but try hard to achieve their dreams: Ma-Roo to become a doctor and Jae-Hee to become an anchorwoman.
One day, Ma-Roo goes home and finds his sister feverishly sick. While he puts socks on his ill sister, Ma-Roo receives a phone call from Jae-Hee. Jae-Hee sounds completely frantic and asks Ma-Roo to come over to save this man. Even though Ma-Roo's sick sister begs him to not leave her, Ma-Roo rushes over to help Jae-Hee. When he arrives at the motel room, he finds Jae-Hee completely shaken and a dead man laying on the floor near her. Ma-Roo attempts to counsel Jae-Hee to turn herself in to the police. Appearing completely broken in spirit, Jae-Hee begins to call the police, but Ma-Roo hangs up the phone. He kisses Jae-Hee and then goes through the motel room to wipe away Jae-Hee's fingerprints. Ma-Roo then tells Jae-Hee that he will take the blame and turn himself into the police.
Meanwhile, Eun-Gi (Moon Chae-Won) is the rich heiress a to family that owns the large corporation Taesan. She has been groomed to become the successor to the Taesan corporation and, consequently, shows very little emotions. When she pulls her car over in front of her home, Eun-Gi sees a woman hug her father. The woman hugging her father is Jae-Hee. In tears, Jae-Hee tells Eun-Gi "You have no idea what I did to protect you. What I just did to the man I care the most for in my life."
6 years later, after serving a 5 year prison sentence, Ma-Roo travels to Aomori, Japan to retrieve money from a woman who swindled his friend Jae-Gil (Lee Kwang-Soo). Ma-Roo seduces the woman and retrieves the money stolen from his friend. At the same time, Eun-Gi and her now stepmother Jae-Hee are also in Aomori, Japan. Eun-Gi looks down upon her stepmother as nothing but a gold digger.
On the flight back to Korea, Ma-Roo waits to use the restroom. When the restroom door opens, Eun-Gi walks out and collapses onto Ma-Roo. Ma-Roo places Eun-Gi on the floor and walks back to his seat. Eun-Gi's condition quickly worsens and the airplane asks if there is a doctor on the flight. Since nobody comes forward, Ma-Roo is compelled to help Eun-Gi. While administering aid to Eun-Gi, he asks for the woman's guardian. At this time, Jae-Hee walks over to the scene and states that she is her mother. Jae-Hee also has a child next to her that is calling her mom.
6. Arang and the Magistrate starring Shin Min Ah, Lee Jun Ki, Yun Woo Jin, Kwon Oh Joong, Han Jung Soo, Hwang Bo Ra, Kim Yong Gun, Yoo Seung Ho, Park Joon Gyu and Kang Moon Young.
Plot: The beautiful Arang, the daughter of a magistrate during the Chosun Dynasty, is brutally murdered. The woman returns from the dead as a ghost, still full of light-hearted mischief and spirited fun. When she meets a young magistrate, Eun Oh, she discovers that he has the unique ability to communicate with the dead. She convinces him to help her uncover her killer and bring the person to justice. Can a ghost and a magistrate team up to solve a murder mystery and punish the wrongdoer?
