You're My Foreignoy is a contest for male foreigners with a Filipino heart.
Gui Adorno is 27 years old who loves chicken adobo and considers La Union and Baguio as his favorite places in the Philippines. He bested 7 other contestants from around the world, winning for himself the grand prize of P200,000 plus a trophy, sash, and the bragging rights of being the first-ever winner of You're My Foreignoy.
First runner-up was James Sumner from England, and second runner-up was Diego Furoni from Italy. They won P75,000 and P50,000 respectively.
Meanwhile, the special Facebook-based Dabarkads Choice Award went to Hong Kong's Richard Hwan, a 21-year-old student of UP Diliman. The Best in Talent Award went to Sumner who sang Lord, Patawad. They both got P20,000 each.
Other finalists include Petar Sajko from Croatia, Eduardo Fagundes from Brazil, Reza Kianifar from Iran, and Christian Arno Williams from England.
Judges during the grand finals included beauty queens Gloria Diaz and Rufa Gutierrez, award-winning broadcast journalist Jessica Soho, Lordinio Vergara of the Philippine Normal University, and Dabarkads Joey de Leon who conceptualized You're My Foreignoy.
