‘Be Careful With My Heart’ movie is possible MMFF 2013 entry

Fans of the hit romantic comedy series Be Careful With My Heart will definitely be glad to know that a movie version of the top-rating Kapamilya program is in the works.

It’s not going to be a summary of the television version, though, because according to its lead star Richard Yap, the movie will be a continuation of what we saw on TV.

“It's going to be a different story from Be Careful,” Richard, who plays Sir Chief in the series, told ABS-CBN News. “Para siyang continuation, hindi siya 'yung condensed version. Kung ano ang nangyayari sa Be Careful, after that, iyon ang mabubuo.”

But if having a movie version is treat enough, the fact that it is a possible entry to the 39th Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) this December is even greater news. It is one of the two Star Cinema movies being screened for the festival, the other being the Kathryn Bernardo-Daniel Padilla (KathNiel) horror movie titled Pagpag.

Be Careful With My Heart has been on air for 11 months now, after being extended for a number of times. It continues to be the highest-rating daytime TV program nationwide with its light and kilig storyline. Its end date hasn’t been announced yet.
