New horror 'The Conjuring' gets a trailer (Video)

Warner Bros. Philippines has released the trailer for The Conjuring, an upcoming horror thriller from director James Wan (Insidious).

The Conjuring

The movie is based on true story, from the case files of married demonologists Ed and Lorraine Warren who will be portrayed by Patrick Wilson and Academy Award nominee Vera Farmiga.

Ed and Lorraine will be called to help a family terrorized by a dark presence in a secluded farmhouse. The trailer below features scenes inside the house before the Warrens were called and it includes Lili Taylor, who portrays the mother Caroly Perron, playing hide-and-seek with her daughters.

Based on the movie poster above and also on the movie’s Facebook page, The Conjuring opens July 19 in the U.S. and U.K. But then on the video description of the movie’s trailer, Warner Bros. Ph says it will open in the country August 2013. So we’re getting this gem of a movie a moth later than the rest of the world? I hope not.
