Julie Anne San Jose and Elmo Magalona were tapped to sing GMA-7’s summer campaign jingle, Summer Sa Mundo Ng Kapuso.
Both young stars expressed their gratefulness for the chance to sing the summer theme song. During their recording, Julie Anne told gmanetwork.com how grateful she was.
“Sobrang honored ako na kami po ni Elmo ang napiling kumanta ng ‘Summer sa Mundo ng Kapuso,’ said the singer whose debut album has already turned double platinum.
She’s also set to have a Manila concert in April and another one in Los Angeles on May 25.
“Gusto ko po magpasalamat sa lahat po ng sumuporta sa album ko under GMA Records” Julie Anne also added. “Double platinum na po siya, and sobrang ino-owe a lot kop o ‘yung supporters ko at sobrang blessed po ako kasi meron po akong mga friends and fans na katulad po nila.”
Elmo, who is seen Sundays in Party Pilipinas together with Julie Anne, said he’s also honored to be part of the “anthem.”
“I’m very honored because it’s a big network and it’s an anthem ‘pag pinakinggan mo,” he said. “Sinasabi ng kanta na ito ‘yung one of the biggest events na nangyayari sa Philippines, na laging hinahanap at laging inaabangan ng mga Pinoy kasi that’s what we’re known for.”
