ABS-CBN is holding auditions for the upcoming reality show The Voice of the Philippines.
The show is the local franchise of the hit reality singing show created by Dutch media tycoon John de Mol who also created Big Brother, Fear Factor, 1 vs 100, and Deal Or No Deal among others.
To qualify, one has to be at least 16 years old and have Filipino ancestry. Aspirants should have two songs ready for the open call audition. No background tracks or instruments are permitted as only a cappella is allowed. Bring an identification, a copy of birth certificate, one close up and one full body photo. No one other than the auditionees are allowed at the audition, although one parent or guardian will be allowed if the aspirant is under 18. Dress appropriately in a style that best represents you.
Auditions are held from January 7 to 11, 2013 at the following venues:
