GMA-7 has unveiled the theme song for the upcoming historical series Indio . Titled May Laya, the very musical theater-sounding theme was sung by Kapuso singer Mark Bautista.
Indio is set to premiere on January 14. It stars Bong Revilla in the title role.
A lot of Kapuso stars are also part of the cast like Jennylyn Mercado, Rhian Ramos, Sam Pinto, Jackie Lou Blanco, Michael de Mesa, and Alden Richards as the young adult Indio.
Controversial actress Sarah Lahbati has already taped scenes for the series, but after her reported violation of contract and rift with the TV network that launched her career, talks has it that she will be replaced as Ynaguinid.
