Marian Rivera and Ai-Ai delas Alas have already started doing the movie that puts them together for the first time. Titled Kung Fu Divas, the movie is a co-production of the two stars and Reality Films.
With Ai-Ai in the cast, of course everyone is sure that it is a comedy flick. And reports say the story will make moviegoers roll with laughter.
Marian, who mostly do drama but was very effective in the few comedy projects she starred in, was so in awe with Ai-Ai in the shoot.
"Minsan, natutulala ako sa kanya pag nag-line siya kasi sobrang galing talaga niya!" Marian was quoted as saying.
And with regards to the opportunity to work with the country's Comedy Queen:
"Sobrang saya ko at nakakataba ng puso! At marami akong natutunan kay Ate Ai sa mga pagku-comedy niya."
She was also full of praises for the costar saying Ai-Ai indeed was the best in her craft.
"Napakagaling, napakahusay, kaya hindi ako nagtataka na tawagin siyang Queen of Comedy," Marian said, and added "Siya na 'yan talaga! At least, masasabi kong nakasama ko siya at happy na ako do'n!"
