Shaina Magdayao finally spoke up about the men that are being linked to her - Piolo Pascual and Sam Milby.
Piolo was the first to be linked to Shaina after the actress posted a series of photos on her Instagram account last October, taken during their stay in Singapore for ASAP. It was followed by being linked to Sam Milby who confessed on TV that he plans to court her.
“Ayaw ko talagang bigyan ng malisya yung friendship namin,” Shaina told abs-cbnnews.com about being linked to Piolo who is her costar in the upcoming movie OTJ. “Pero I just want to say thank you naa-appreciate niya ako bilang tao.”
On Sunday, Piolo told The Buzz that he and Shaina have been going out but maintained that they are just friends.
Meanwhile, Sam hasn’t really courted her yet but has actually asked permission from his friend John Prats, who became Shaina’s boyfriend a few years back.
“Alam niyo nahihiya ako na sa akin manggaling at nahihiya ako na sa babae manggagaling pero nakaka-overwhelm din siya kasi hindi ko ini-expect na maa-appreciate nila ako at gustong kilalanin pa. They are good men, masarap silang kausap at mabuti silang kaibigan sila sa akin. Hindi naman kami ngayon lang magkakilala, dati pa naman magkakaibigan na,” she further said.
She said she has always had a boyfriend and she now learns how to relax now that she’s single. She’s also focused on work and said that she will first listen to her family and friends this time around.
“Pero if that person comes, hindi natin mapipigilan ‘yon.”
Her last boyfriend was John Lloyd Cruz who is now the boyfriend of Angelica Panganiban. When asked about it, she said she has no regrets.
“Lagi akong no-regrets. As long as alam mo na you have purest intentions, okay ka.”
She also said that she has already learned to let go of the anger, reason why she has now fully moved on.
Aside from OTJ, Shaina is also part of the upcoming Star Cinema movie that will also star her bestfriend Bea Alonzo, Angel Locsin, Enchong Dee and Toni Gonzaga.
