Bamboo and Ara Mina on It’s Showtime’s Kalokalike

Bamboo Mañalac and Ara Mina impersonators won It’s Showtime’s Kalokalike: Face 2 on Saturday, July 6, 2013.

Bamboo’s impersonator, 24-year-old John Aldernado from Davao City, got the judges and the madlang people’s approval especially when he sang the rock star’s hit Hallelujah. He can really sing, anyway, since he is a band vocalist.

Ara Mina’s kalokalike, meanwhile, is a 28-year-old registered nurse Ruby Rhaissa Pangilinan. Aside from possessing similarity in facial features, she also copied Ara’s giggles and mannerisms to a T. She sang Ara’s single Ay Ay Ay Pag-ibig and showed everyone that even her singing voice is very much Ara.
