Pinoy Soap Opera Queen Judy Ann Santos personally chose Gretchen Barretto to join the cast of her primetime series Huwag Ka Lang Mawawala which airs weeknights on ABS-CBN’s Primetime Bida.
Gretchen will soon be seen in the series as a lawyer named Eva Custodio, and we can’t wait to see her “lawyer outfits” in the show.
The controversial actress felt flattered to be the personal choice of Juday, who she considers as one of the best actresses of her generation.
“It really felt so good that I was personally handpicked by Judy Ann,” she said. “It’s really a dream to work with Juday that’s why I did not let the chance pass by. We all know that in her generation, she’s really one of the best, if not the best.”
Gretchen felt blessed, as aside from her special participation in HKLM, the cameras will also soon be rolling for her own upcoming teleserye.
“Sometimes, I forget to be grateful, but I am truly thankful that I have a good career and I get to work with very talented people,” she said. “It’s flattering to still be very much in the business after so many years and to be a Kapamilya is such a blessing.”
