Francine Garcia aka Kim Chiu of Quezon City won Super Sireyna Queen of Queens, a transgender beauty contest with a cause of Eat Bulaga! The grand finals was held at the Newport Performing Arts Theater, Resorts World Manila on Saturday, July 27, 2013.
Getting an average score of 91.98%, she bested 7 other contestants who each had won a title in the weekly grand finals in the last two months.
As the winner, she won a crown, trophy, sash, scepter, and a cash prize of P300,000, 50% of which goes to her chosen cause.
‘Kim Chiu’ also won the Facebook Dabarkads Choice special award for getting with the most likes on Facebook for her photo. The award went with P10,000 and a sash.
Other special awards handed out were Best in Costume which was won by Bembem Radaza aka Carla Abellana of Cagayan de Oro City; Best in Long Gown won by Maki Eve Mercedez aka Jennylyn Mercado of Labangon, Cebu City; Super Telegenic Sireyna won by Mae Andrada aka Marian Rivera of Dasmariñas, Cavite; and Best in Talent won by Aya Garcia aka Bangs Garcia of Quezon City. All special awards went with P10,000 cash, sash and bouquet.
Other finalists include Mariane Arguelles aka Cristine Reyes of Bongabon, Nueva Ecija; Michelle Bermudez aka Georgina Wilson of Caloocan City; and Ava Santillian aka Heart Evangelista of Sorsogon Bicol.
The panel of judges was composed of Kapuso actor Aljur Abrenica, Eat Bulaga! co-host Isabelle Daza, Emmy Award-winning Pinoy producer Michael Carandang, fashion designer Rajo Laurel, and the Philippines’ first Miss Universe Gloria Diaz.
The criteria for judging used was the same as the daily and weekly rounds. Super Stage Presence was 50%, Super Talent was 25%, and Super Wit was 25%.
