JC De Vera has just signed a two-year contract with ABS-CBN, making him now a certified Kapamilya!
The hunky actor was first identified with GMA-7 where he was given lead roles in a number of television series. After a controversy between the said network and his manager, he was seen transferring to TV5 where he was also given big roles.
Now that he’s with the Kapamilya Network, will he be staying for good?
During the presscon that followed the contract signing, he said, “It’s a dream come true to be a Kapamilya.” So we’re guessing signing with the network is his ultimate goal.
He also mentioned his need to grow as an actor as one of the reasons he made the network shift.
“We have to move forward, we have to grow, kaya andito na ako,” he said.
More importantly, though, we wonder what roles he will be given. Something that would show his physique perhaps? He’s got a body to flaunt, after all.
Reports say he will be start taping for a new project with the network this August.
