Warner Bros Pictures has released a new teaser for The Conjuring that features interviews with Lorraine Warren, the paranormal investigator portrayed in the movie by Vera Farmiga.
The new teaser titled “The Devil’s Hour” talks about how evil spirits use 3:07 and 3:15 in the morning to make their presence felt.
A number of other paranormal investigators and medium are also interviewed in the teaser about the said “hour” and they all agree that it is the time of the night that we should be scared of.
The most intriguing explanation, however, was said in the movie by the character of Ed Warren (played by Patrick Wilson), Lorraine’s husband. The reason why evil spirits use 3 AM is to mock the Holy Trinity.
Before there was Amityville, there was Harrisville. Based on a true story, "The Conjuring" tells the horrifying tale of how world renowned paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren were called upon to help a family terrorized by a dark presence in a secluded farmhouse. Forced to confront a powerful demonic entity, the Warrens find themselves caught in the most terrifying case of their lives.
The Conjuring also stars Ron Livingston and Lili Taylor as Roger and Carolyn Perron, the residents of that haunted house in Rhode Island. It is directed by James Wan (Saw, Insidious).
While it was given a July 19 showing in the US, the Philippines will have to wait until August 21 to watch it.
