Alex Gonzaga does heavy drama in ‘MMK’ (VIDEO)

Alex Gonzaga does heavy drama for her very first Maalaala Mo Kaya episode this Saturday, August 3, 2013.

She plays the role Pinky, an adopted daughter of her aunt and uncle who is maltreated by her cousin Rene, played by Dimples Romana.

Rene is jealous with all the attention Pinky is receiving from her parents, reason why she decides to make her cousin’s life miserable. Pinky, meanwhile, endures all the emotional and physical abuse and keeps mum about it because she wants to finish her studies that is being provided for by her foster parents.

As a result of all the emotional and physical abuse, Pinky grows up to be a strong woman. She’s motivated to be successful so she can one day get her revenge on Rene.

Aside from Alex and Dimples, the episode also has Maila Gumila, Lito Pimentel, Daisy Reyes, Alan Paule, Guji Lorenzana and Slater Young. Xyriel Manabat and Miles Ocampo plays the young Pinky and young Rene respectively. The episode was directed by Don Cuaresma from the script written by Joan Habana and researched by Alex Martin.
