Billy Crawford won’t speak about his break-up with Nikki Gil but he promised to talk about it “next time.”
The two reportedly broke up last week but there’s almost no sign of it as we see Billy joking around in It’s Showtime everyday.
People only became conscious of what he says on air when news about the separation hit the headlines.
“Ito pa ang the best na salubong everyday, ang marinig natin ang sigaw ng ating madlang people. Ito, kailangan ko kayo ngayon. Make some noise, madlang people!” he said during the opening of the Kapamilya noontime show on Friday.
ABS-CBN News tried to talk to him about the break-up after the show but he was obviously avoiding the media. He walked hurriedly towards his car and only said that he will “answer everything next time.”
Recently, ALV Talent Circuit, which manages the showbiz careers of both Billy and Nikki, confirmed the break-up through a statement sent to Yahoo! Philippines OMG!
“On behalf of our artists, Billy Crawford and Nikki Gil, we are greatly saddened by their admission that they have indeed mutually agreed to end their relationship of more than four years. With due respect to their privacy, we are refraining from issuing any other facts or statements related to the issue at this critical juncture.”
Meanwhile, Nikki has also been silent about the break-up, although reports say that she was very emotional last Sunday in her ASAP dressing room.
