The islands of Marinduque was hit by a magnitude 4.7 earthquake on Wednesday evening.
According to the bulletin posted by the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs), the earthquake occurred at exactly 6:51:34 PM of July 24, 2013.
The epicenter was traced 15 kilometers (km) northwest of Boac, the capital of Marinduque. It had a depth of 19 km.
Reported intensities:
Intensity IV - Boac and Mogpog, Marinduque
Intensity III - Lucena City; Abra de Ilog, Occidental Mindoro
No damage nor aftershock is expected.
