Glee star Lea Michele has made her first Twitter post after boyfriend and costar Cory Monteith’s death.
Along with the above photo, Lea posted this message on the early morning of July 30: “Thank you all for helping me through this time with your enormous love & support. Cory will forever be in my heart.”
Cory was found dead in his hotel room in Canada on July 13. His autopsy revealed he had a fatal mixture of heroine and alcohol in his body at the time of his death. He was 31.
Lea had been very quiet for the past two weeks and it’s good to know she’s now back, at least on Twitter.
In line with Cory’s passing, Glee has pushed back its fifth season premiere from Sept. 19 to Sept. 26. Producers of the show has made the decision to not start production until early August to give the cast and crew, many of whom were close to Cory, a time to mourn.
