The music video for Beyonce’s I Was Here has been released.
The video shows Beyonce performing in front of a large audience inside the Assembly Hall of the United Nations while scenes of poverty and disasters around the world is flashed on wide screen behind her.
The video used markers similar to the one used by Foursquare.com. Marks are put on places where people have exerted efforts to help those in need.
The video was overall very touching, with the audience applauding to the heroic deeds being flashed. Watch the video below and be inspired.
I Was Here, which is included in Beyonce’s latest album 4, was written by Diane Warren, while the music video was directed by Kenzo Digital and Sophie Muller.
