After airing taped episodes for a week, the ABS-CBN noontime show It’s Showtime debuted its new set on Wednesday, July 3, 2013.
It was the program’s first live episode after it held a show at the Neal S. Blaisdell Center Arena in Honolulu, Hawaii on June 29.
The construction of its new set was shown during the first minutes of the show, before the rock band Kamikazee performed the opening number.
“We're back, madlang people!” said host Vhong Navarro.
Meanwhile, Vice Ganda thanked those who watched their show in Hawaii.
Sana po na-Showtime namin kayong lahat diyan,” the comedian-host said.
