Regine Velasquez to hold FREE “Silver” concert repeat on January 5, 2013!

The repeat of “Silver,” Regine Velasquez’s 25th anniversary concert, is already set for January 5, 2013.

A tentative date of December 8 for the concert’s “take 2” was earlier announced, but now it can be told and you can already block your calendars to make yourselves available for Regine’s concert on Jan. 5.

A free repeat of the concert was promised by the Asia’s Songbird during the November 16 concert to make up for her hoarse voice that night. Her throat was at its worst during that time that she wasn’t able to sing normally.

The concertgoers, however, were so supportive of her and she even gained more respect as a performer for going through with the show despite having a viral infection that affected her vocal chords.

Regine’s sister and “Silver” concert producer Cacai Mitra took to Twitter a few hours ago to announce the new date of the concert.

“Finally!!! JAN 5 na #silverconcert!” Cacai posted on her official Twitter account.

The Jan. 5 concert will be free to those who bought tickets for the Nov. 16 performance.

Ticketholders of the original “Silver” concert can exchange their old tickets for a new one over at SM Tickets. The same seats will be provided, though, as it will be held in the same venue, and to lessen complaints as well.

“Same seat po para di magulo and less complains,” Cacai explained.

There will be a deadline for exchanging of tickets. Eventually, unclaimed tickets will be up for sale.

“Will give priority to those xchanging their tix.. Only unclaimed tix will be open for sale.”

Details as to when ticketholders can exchange their tickets and when new tickets will be up for sale are yet to be announced.

Also, Cacai is still contemplating on the title of the concert’s repeat. “Silver take 2?, silver resbak?! Hahaha or silver... Rewind?” she asked her Twitter followers.

Whatever the title of the concert will be, though, we fans are hoping that Regine Velasquez won’t be infected with any virus on January 5, or ever.
