The movie poster for The Strangers has been released. The movie is topbilled by Enchong Dee, Julia Montes, Enrique Gil and JM De Guzman and is an official entry to the 2012 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF).
The horror movie will go head-to-head with another festival entry of the same genre, the 14th installment of Regal Films’ Shake Rattle and Roll.
The Strangers is an aswang movie directed by Lawrence Fajardo, and judging by the trailer (which you can watch here), Pinoy horror fanatics have something good coming their way on December 25.
The young lead stars have the support of some of the best actors in local showbiz like Cherry Pie Picache, Jaime Fabregas, Art Acuña, Spanky Manikan and Janice de Belen who is also in the cast of the “Pamana” episode of Shake Rattle and Roll.
Meanwhile, the main stars of the movie are four of the busiest Kapamilya actors today. Julia is currently busy in a project that will take her tandem with Coco Martin to the big screen, some scenes of which were shot in Amsterdam.
Enrique, JM and Enchong, on the other hand, have their respective television series – Enrique has Princess And I, JM has Angelito: Ang Bagong Yugto, and Enchong has Ina Kapatid Anak which also has Cherry Pie and Janice in the cast.
