Double the laughter this weekend as fun party channel Velvet brings Adam Sandler twice in the hilarious film “Jack and Jill” premiering this Friday (November 23) at 7:30 p.m.
The box office film directed by Dennis Dugan and co-written by Adam Sandler also stars Katie Holmes and Al Pacino. Sandler’s films, notorious for having numerous cameo appearances, will feature personalities such as Johnny Depp, Shaquille O’Neal, Lamar Odom, Bruce Jenner and many more. Dugan and Sandler collaborated on hit comedy films “Grown Ups”, “You Don’t Mess With the Zohan”, “I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry” and “Big Daddy”.
Their most recent film, “Jack and Jill”, focuses on Jack Sadelstein (Adam Sandler), a successful advertising executive in Los Angeles with a beautiful wife and kids, who dreads one event each year: the Thanksgiving due to the annual visit of Jill (also Adam Sandler), his annoying, noxious, and abhorrent identical twin sister.
“Adam Sandler fans will be plenty happy with Jack And Jill, a broad and endearingly loopy family comedy in which Sandler stars alongside himself (in drag) and, even more bizarrely, Al Pacino playing himself,” said John Hazelton of www.screendaily.com. A must-see in the film is Al Pacino doing a Dunkin’ Donuts spot complete with production number.
Catch “Jack and Jill” on Flickpick, Velvet Channel’s movie block this Friday (November 23) at 7:30 p.m. with replays on Saturday at 10:00 a.m., Sunday at 3:00 p.m. and Monday at 12:00 p.m. Velvet (SkyCable Channel 53) is available on SkyCable Platinum, SkyCable Gold, SkyCable Silver and other quality cable operators nationwide.
