Nicki Minaj - “Freedom” music video

Nicki Minaj has released the music video for Freedom on November 19. It premiered on 106 and Park and was afterwards uploaded on the singer’s YouTube VEVO channel.

The music video was directed by Colin Tilley and was shot in Dungeness, England on November 1. It is in black and white and features the Trinidadian rapper in elegant dresses while doing the low tempo song.

Freedom is the second single from the re-release of Nicki’s second studio album Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded – The Re-Up. She wrote the song herself and first announced it on Twitter, saying that she has finished writing the song, on September 29. It premiered on November 3 via UK’s Tim Westwood BBC Radio 1Xtra and was released as a digital download on the same day.
